INSTALLATION ACCESSORIES

You get a fully functional system ready to connect to the water supply. All equipment can be installed independently, without violating the warranty conditions. The set includes all the parts and accessories needed to connect the system.

FILTRATION STEPS

Step 1: PP sediment filter
Step 2: Carbon block filter
Stage 3: Reverse osmosis membrane 400 GPD
Step 4: Coconut carbon filter

PP 5 MICRON FILTERS

Mechanical cleaning filter with the function of physically removing physically to remove sediment, dirt or any particles using a barrier. This filter removes particles larger than 5 microns. PP filters consist of a multilayer microscopic polypropylene fibre. Due to the structure of the fibre pores, dirt is retained. The filter is changed every 6-18 months or as needed.

CTO FILTERS

Carbon block filter consisting of monolithic activated carbon, which removes any organic matter, chlorine, odor and turbidity Compared to the granular carbon filter, the surface area of the carbon block is much larger, as well as the number of active centres, so it is up to 25% more efficient than other types of carbon cartridges. Filters mechanical impurities larger than 3 µm. Carbon cartridges are especially recommended for surface water treatment. The filter is changed every 6-18 months or as needed.

RO MEMBRANA

Ultra-fine porosity (single pore size 0.0001 micron) filter operating on the principle of reverse osmosis. When pure water and saline are separated by a semiconducting membrane that passes only water molecules, due to the pressure (concentration) difference on both sides of the membrane, the water molecules pass to the saline side. This process takes until the salt concentration on both sides equalizes. This process is called direct osmosis. Treatment of highly mineralized water with a reverse osmosis membrane creates a pressure in excess of osmotic and forces water molecules to flow through the membrane in the opposite direction to direct osmosis, that is, from highly mineralized water to the pure water compartment. Membrane holes are much smaller than viruses and bacteria, so they are removed by filtration. Heavy metals, dissolved substances and salts are also removed. The treated water is fed to the mixer and the dirty water is discharged to the sewer. The main parameter defining the membrane characteristic is the permeability. Bandwidth is usually measured in GPD (gallons per day). This shows how much water the membrane can clean in a day. 1 gallon is 3.78 liters (so if the membrane has a permeability of 100 GPD, up to 378 liters of water can be purified per day). The membrane is changed every 24 to 36 months or as needed.

FINAL CARBON FILTERS

The final activated carbon filter goes under the membrane and is the last stage of water purification - removes all flavors or odors, improves the taste of treated water. The filter is changed every 12-24 months or as needed.

QUICK CHANGE FILTERS

Quick-change filters are filters mounted in housings with a quick-fit. There is no need to perform operations such as disconnecting the hoses, removing the filter housing, unscrewing it, removing the filter, inserting a new one, and so on. Typically, the process of replacing such filters can be performed in a few light movements. These filters are a little more expensive, but they can be easily changed by anyone, they are very popular with women and individuals who appreciate the opportunity to upgrade the system without getting their hands wet.

FILTER MAINTENANCE AND REPLACEMENT TERMS

In order for the device to function optimally, it must be constantly maintained. The frequency of maintenance depends on the quality of the water supplied and the frequency of use of the system and the water filtered quantity. The filter replacement terms next to the filter are indicative. Keep in mind that the frequency of filter changes may vary, so we recommend monitoring the change in TDS in the treated water (measured at regular intervals with a TDS meter). If the TDS level changes significantly - replace the filters.

PUMP

The purpose of pumps is to increase the pressure in osmosis or other filtration systems when the pressure of the water supplied from the water supply network is insufficient. In a filtration system, a pump may also be required when a large number of solids dissolved in water (e.g., a TDS reading of 600 ppm) is required for efficient operation of the membrane. The pump capacity required for the system depends on the permeability of the diaphragm used in the system.

DISPLAY

Depending on the model, the device display shows information about the TDS level and / or the use of filters and when to change the filters.

TDS METER

The meter measures the total concentration of dissolved solids in the solution. The lower the level of TDS in the water, the more efficiently the body’s cells absorb drinking water. The higher the level of TDS in the water, the greater the likelihood that the water will contain harmful contaminants that could pose a health risk or impair the uptake of water molecules at the cellular level.

PPM

The usual unit of measurement for TDS is expressed in PPM (parts per million) (1 ppm = 1 milligram of dissolved solids per liter of water).

SINGLE FAUCET

Single water flow faucet mounted on the top of a countertop or sink through which filtered water escapes.
