HOW DOES MKII WORK?
The water distiller boils the water first. This destroys viruses and bacteria and removes contaminants. Water vapor enters a pipeline that is made of stainless steel, where it is cooled and converted back to water. This produces pure water. This water then passes through an activated carbon filter and thus ultimately removes any traces of impurities, odors. Distilled water is the purest, as it does not contain any additives and impurities. VERY EASY TO USE
The water distiller produces 2.8 liters of absolutely pure water in 3,5-4 hours. All you need to do is fill it up, turn it on and run it. Water is dropped into a glass container that can be stored in the refrigerator. Turns off automatically - no need to worry about overheating.

WHAT ARE THE COSTS AND PRICES OF ELECTRICITY?
How to calculate how much it costs to distill 2.8 liters of water
The distiller uses 580 W of electricity per hour
If the distillation process lasts 3 hours, we count

580 W x 3 h = ~1.75 kWh

We charge a price per kilowatt hour for the standard consumer,
regardless of day, night and weekend or so, tariffs
(tie (those who pay a different price can adjust their tariff)

Price per 1 kWh = 0.13 £

1.75 x 0.13 £ = ~ 0.23 £

So we calculated the price of 2.8 liters of distilled water
when the distillation process takes 3 hours.

ABOUT DISTILLED WATER
Have you ever tasted completely pure water? The tap water contains contaminants. Even bottled and filtered water contain impurities. And the problem is that if you don’t filter the water before drinking, your body becomes the filter. The only guaranteed way to get absolutely pure water is distillation. Distilled water is 99.8% pure. When using distilled water, you are using water that is cleaner than any other bottled or tap water and cleaner than treated with any other filtration or purification method.

HOW IT IS DIFFERENT FROM BOTTLED WATER?
You will be amazed at how much contaminant is in the water from the bottles, and yet it is expensive. Bottled water is often more expensive than gasoline.

WATER DISTILLATION COMPARED TO OTHER WATER TREATMENT METHODS?
The other two most common forms of filtration are activated carbon filters and reverse osmosis. Of these, reverse osmosis technology is more advanced. Our tests show that distillation is more efficient than filtration through carbon filters or reverse osmosis.


ACTIVATED CARBON FILTERS (PACKAGES)
Is it mandatory to use carbon filters? Charcoal filters volatile organic compounds (VOCs) such as pesticides and solvents. Carbon filtration removes these chemicals and improves the taste of the water.

Activated charcoal components: natural coconut shell.
Features: Removes odors and improves taste.
Expiry date: The activated carbon package must be changed every 25-35 days. If the distilled water has a strange taste or odor, replace the activated carbon package immediately.

Do not put unused or currently used activated carbon packs in the refrigerator, as they can absorb odors there and therefore give the water a bad taste.

New packages of activated carbon can emit a small amount of black powder, which is completely harmless to the human body. It’s just powdered charcoal and it’s safe.

Tightly sealed activated carbon packages should be stored in a cool place.

CLEANING THE DISTILLATOR
For the distiller heating system to work properly, it is recommended to clean the boiling tank once a month (or more often, depending on the frequency of use) from limescale and other deposits. Acid (usually lemon) based cleaners are used for cleaning. When purchasing a distiller, one pack of detergent is included.

WHAT IS THE DURATION OF THE DISTILLATION PROCESS
Depending on the temperature of the water supplied, the distillation process may not take the same amount of time. If the water is very cold, the process can take up to 30% longer than at normal room temperature. For example, if the water temperature is 22 degrees (room temperature), it takes an average of 3 to 3,5 hours to distill off all the water in the appliance. If the temperature is about 8 degrees, it will take about 4 hours and so on.

If the water tank is filled above the maximum filling limit, the appliance must evaporate more water than usual, so the process takes longer.

Because the working power is between 350-850 W after water boil, if the consumer house power is low, the machine will automatically change to low power to save electricity, so the distilling time will be different.
